- Actively engaged in research in corrosion, friction stir welding wear for which Andhra University awarded Doctoral Degree.
- Guiding projects in the areas of corrosion.
- Providing consultancy services to Metallography.
- Actively engaged in curriculum design/development for the subjects Metallurgy & Material science , Machine Tools.
- Member of Professional bodies like MISTE, AMIE ,TSI.
- Apart from academics, contributing with admin responsibility as Library Committee member.
