- Has done Masters from JNTU Hyderabad University, with Thermal Engineering specialization.
- Actively engaged in research in the Gas turbines and combined cycles for which JNTUH University awarded Doctoral Degree.
- Guiding research/projects in the areas of area of Alternate fuels, combustion, gas turbines, nano lubricants, combined cycles.
- Providing consultancy services to testing of alternate fuels, combustion and emission analysis in VCR engines.
- Undertaken DST/AICTE projects worth 17 lakhs.

Currently acting as co-Principal Investigator in R&D Project on "Viability of stand-alone hybrid renewable energy water Pumping System for agricultural applications in Vizianagaram" funded by MVGR Research Board.

Actively engaged in curriculum design/development for the subjects thermodynamics, IC engines and Compressors, Thermal Engineering.

- Apart from academics, contributing with admin responsibility as administrative co- ordinator and research co ordinator.
- Has diverse experience in both industry/institution for a period of 16 years.
- Successfully completed PhD guidance of his research scholar P.Ravindra Kumar
- Guiding 3 PhD scholars in the areas of Alternate fuels, nano lubricants and IC engines under JNTUK and JNTU Anantapur.
