Two-day CHEMVERSE 2023 National Technical Student Symposium at MVGR

Department of Chemical Engineering, MVGR College of Engineering (A), Vizianagaram organizing a two-day CHEMVERSE 2023 National Technical Student Symposium on April 12 – 13. In this regard, the opening ceremony of CHEMVERSE 2023 was held on Wednesday. For this program, Dr. Raghupatruni Bhima Rao, former Chief Scientist, CSIR, Bhubaneswar, former President IEI was invited as the Chief Guest.

Chief Guest Dr. Raghupatruni Bhima Rao informed about the importance of chemical engineering and stated that chemical engineers should work for environmental protection by studying environmental balance, conservation of energy resources, conservation of water resources, utilization of natural resources, etc. in protecting nature and developing new scientific and technological methods.

College Vice Principal, Dr. YMC Sekhar said that he was very happy with the response from other organizations for the symposium in terms of registrations. And he appreciated the department for organizing this kind of symposium which helps in bringing out the best output from the students.

Prof. B. Sarva Rao, Head of the Department, Chemical Eng., and Convener of CHEMVERSE 2023, said that about 250 students from various institutions participated for paper, poster presentations and project expo while explaining the various technical programs being conducted at the symposium.
