6 Day Workshop funded by DST-SERB organized by ECE Dept kick started

In regional MVGR College of Engineering, Department of ECE, under the sponsorship of DST-SERB organizing a six-day workshop on the topic "Design and Simulation of Miniature Antennas using machine learning for IOT Applications". The event will start from June 6^th and ends on June 10^th. For the inaugural session of the workshop, Dr. Bandaru Subbarao, Scientist-G, Programme Director, SAMEER-Center for Electromagnetic Environment Effects (CE3), Government of India attended as chief guest.

In the event, Dr. Subbarao addressed the gathering and explained that these kinds of workshops are essential for technical education. He also mentioned the efforts of DST-SERB for promoting research sponsoring these kinds of workshops.

Dr. K V L Raju, Correspondent, MANSAS, Principal of the college mentioned the efforts of Dr. M. Satyanarayana, Professor, Coordinator, DSMAMIA-2023 for achieving the sponsorship. He congratulated him and conveyed best wishes to the department for organizing the event.

Dr. Sk. Mastan Vali, HOD, ECE addressed the gathering and said the participants to make use of the topics to be discussed in this six-day workshop.

Dr. M. Satyanarayana thanked the MANSAS management for the continuous encouragement given to him achieving this kind of sponsorships. He also thanked DST-SERB for the sponsorship.

For the inaugural function, Dr. R. Ramesh, Dean (R&D), Dr. Anjaneyulu, Dr. Prabha, Dr. Varma, Dr. Lakshman, Rakesh and other department faculty were present.
