6 Day Workshop funded by DST-SERB organized by ECE Dept ended on a high note at MVGR
"Design and Simulation of Miniature Antennas using machine learning for IOT Applications", a six-day workshop organized by ECE Department of MVGR College of Engineering (A) under the sponsorship of DST-SERB successfully completed with huge response and success. Dr. P. Rajesh Kumar, Professor, HOD, ECE Department, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, attended as chief guest for the valedictory function of the workshop. K. Sambasiva Rao, Scientist-E, Radar Antennas and Components division of DRDO, attended as guest of honor for the valedictory function and also delivered a lecture on the topic “Metamaterial for Aerospace Antenna Applications”.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar being the chairman of IETE said that professional body activities must be linked with this kind of workshops. He said that government has to encourage this kind of funded workshops to promote research among teaching community. He also mentioned that management of MVGR always takes a forward step to promote this type of activities in association with professional bodies IETE, IEEE, IE.
Dr. M. Sunil Prakash, Dean, Training & Placements addressed about the importance of the six-day training program and congratulated all the participants for their active involvement in the workshop.
Chief guests distributed certificates to all the participants. For this function, Dr. YMC Sekhar, Vice Principal, Dr. R. Ramesh, Dean (R&D), Dr. Shaik Mastan Vali, HOD, ECE Department and other department faculty were present.
