120th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Maharaj Alak Narayan Gajapathi
MVGR College of Engineering (A) celebrated Maharaj Alak Narayan Gajapati Raju's 120th birth anniversary. MVGR College Principal and MANSAS Correspondent Dr. KVL Raju paid floral tribute to Maharaj Alak Narayan Gajapati Raju by garlanding the bust statue.
Addressing the students and staff, principal recalled the greatness of Alak Narayan and in his pious memory and in his name, the MANSAS Trust was established by his great son Dr.PVG Raju, Raja Saheb of Vizianagaram. Later he inaugurated the blood donation camp jointly organized by the NSS Unit - MVGR and the Rotary Club of Vizianagaram in the college premises. The students and faculty of the college enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp and made it successful by donating 61 units of blood.
