MVGR MoU with BSNL

BSNL Inks for Training students of MVGRCE

Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Visakhapatnam has signed an MOU on 05/01/2020 with MVGR College of Engineering to train Engineering students particularly to ECE, IT and CSE students on New Telecommunication Technologies. BSNL Assistant General Manager Malla Satya Prasad and MVGRCE principal Dr. K.V.L. Raju exchanged the MOU documents in the presence of all Heads of various departments and BSNL SDE Mr. B. Srinivasa Rao.According to the officials the MOU also allows the students and faculty to do internship/projects, to learn BSNL Infrastructure, to get hands on experience in all telecom streams, namely digital switching, digital transmission systems (Optical communications), wireless communications, mobile communications, broad band technology services, IP Networking, cyber security and telecom support infrastructure. While interacting with MVGR officials, BSNL AGM Mr. M. Satya Prasad informed that BSNL will provide training to MVGR students through their training center located at Visakhapatnam. He said that BSNL will act as a training provider (BSNL-TP) to enhance the knowledge of MVGR students through training program and internship. He also said that BSNL was equipped with well experienced faculty who had trained more than 600 hundred students through EETP Employablility enhancement training program).Dr. K.V.L. Raju said that the MOU will help both the students and the faculty to build strong knowledge in the area of telecommunications. He also said that this opportunity will build a strong platform between industry and regular classroom. Dr. Sunil Prakash, HOD ECE &Dean(Placements) also interacted with BSNL officials.
