Successful Conclusion of DST-SERB Sponsored 1 Week Faculty Development Program at MVGR College of Engineering, Data Engineering Department
The Department of Data Engineering at MVGR College of Engineering (A), Vizianagaram, successfully concluded the 1-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) sponsored by DST-SERB on “Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems: Blockchain Technology Recent Trends and Applications (ICPS-BTRTA-2024)”.
The valedictory function was held marking the end of a week filled with insightful sessions and hands-on workshops.
The chief guest and the speaker for the closing ceremony was Dr.V.Nagesh, MVGR IQAC Convener praised the participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm throughout the program.
Dr. P. Srinivasa Rao (Convener-STTP) highlighted the success of the FDP, noting the significant knowledge exchange and the practical skills acquired by the participants. He emphasized the importance of such programs in keeping faculty and researchers updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and its applications.
A Computer-Based Test (CBT) assessment was conducted to evaluate the participants' understanding and retention of the topics covered during the week. The participants successfully completed the assessment, demonstrating their grasp of the subject matter.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the high-quality sessions delivered by esteemed speakers, including Dr. Dorsala Mallikarjun Reddy from IIIT Sricity, Andhra Pradesh, G. Renu, COO of Kan Prokagno Innovation Private Limited, Vizag, and Praveen Kumar Singh, Senior Data Scientist at Extl Analytics, Noida. The FDP provided a robust platform for networking and collaboration among peers and experts in the field.
Dr. R. Ramesh, Principal of MVGR College of Engineering, and Prof. P. S. Sitharama Raju, Director, congratulated the organizing team for their efforts and the participants for their commitment.
Dr. P.
